We are looking for an experienced Showroom Lead to join our Perth team in a full-time capacity. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and the Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end showroom experience whilst growing our Trade, Sales, and Service Strategy within the ABI Interiors' Perth Showroom, located in the Home Base Centre, Subiaco WA.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting customers throughout the design journey, from initial consultations to creating design presentations, guiding them through product selection, and providing project quotes.
- Work to grow and maximise sales, leads, and opportunities.
- Assist in driving sales while maintaining ABI Interiors' design ethos and overarching desire to assist clients in their selection process.
- Ensure all customers receive expert advice and unparalleled service via phone, email, and in person.
- Mitigate customer escalations and work with stakeholders to improve processes and avenues of resolution.
- Proactive and professional collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and identify potential leads or opportunities, focusing on building longstanding relationships.
- Monitoring team performance, identifying areas for growth, and implementing improvement plans.
- Preparing monthly reports on sales, leads, customer retention, and conversion, and adjusting strategies to achieve targets.
- Representing the brand at meetings, industry events, and marketing initiatives to strengthen our presence.
- Attend client meetings and industry networking events, as required.
About you:
- Proven leadership skills in a luxury retail or showroom environment. Available to work to maximise the ABI Interiors experience over 7 days in various locations where required.
- Strong understanding of the design industry with related qualifications or experience.
- Highly developed organisational and communication skills.
- Confidently engage in proactive and professional collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and a strong customer-first approach while optimising workflow and business outcomes.
- Bestow a positive, proactive attitude combined with a commitment to continuous learning and curiosity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience coaching a team.
- Work well independently with a willingness to take initiative.
- Embody a positive teamwork outlook and collaborative attitude.
- Experience working with a range of IT applications, CRM, and POS software.
- Available to work a rotating roster, including some weekends.
