Where Your Story Begins

An exciting
part-time
opportunity currently exists in our Osborne Park showroom for a qualified Interior Designer to join our team.

18.5hrs per week - Tuesday and Thursday 830am - 5pm and alternating Saturdays 9am - 2pm

You will use your natural flair for design to showcase the Laminex ranges and assist our customers to create beautiful contemporary spaces. In this role you will be focused on guiding our consumers, architects, designers, builders, and fabricators to combine Laminex products with their vision, to create truly unique project palettes.

The Role You'll Play

We are seeking someone who will understand the importance of providing an optimal level of customer service while tailoring your communication style to suit your client's needs. This will be tempered with a tenacious ability to influence customers on their design journey and a genuine desire to create beautiful spaces and drive our product.

We are looking for our selected team member to have:

  • Qualification or Diploma in interior design (not a requirement)
  • High level of communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Participate and foster a team environment as well as work unsupervised.
  • Knowledge of the Laminex Portfolio would be highly desirable
  • Skills/experience in Kitchen or Bathroom Design would be also highly desirable
  • Proven interior design consultancy or retail related experience
  • Ability to embrace our Design Philosophy and create schemes reflective of this
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt to assist more than one client on the showroom floor with their design needs quickly and effectively
  • Skills in Styling or Visual Merchandising would be desirable
  • Ability to make quick strong design decisions
