and experienced Company Accountant join our team at our Prestons office, NSW location.

This position plays a vital role in our daily operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly compliance reporting processes (i.e.
  • Business Activity Statements, Financial Reports, and Tax Returns)
  • Preparing financial analysis spreadsheets and reports for presentation to the
  • management
  • Compiling and analyzing financial data and preparing asset, liability, and capital
  • account entries
  • Examining incomes and operational expenditures against budget to determine the
  • company's financial performance
  • Auditing financial information to ensure accuracy and resolving account
  • discrepancies where required
  • nterpreting financial results and providing advice to the management on business
  • plans, operations, and taxation
  • Establishing and maintaining financial databases and accounting systems
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to minimize errors and
  • enhance internal risk controls
  • Providing training on procedures to be followed by other functional areas in order to
  • support the finance function
  • Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Professional Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 year of experience as an Accountant.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting systems
  • Up-to-date knowledge about Australian taxation law and financial reporting
