Finncorp Chartered Accountants is seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, super funds, and individuals.
  • Lodgement of BAS, IAS, and payroll tax returns, as well as managing annual FBT submissions.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
  • Preparation of management reports with insightful financial analysis.
  • Maintenance of fixed asset registers and preparation of accurate depreciation schedules.
  • Liaison with clients and the ATO to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA qualification in progress is a plus).
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including XERO, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax preparation, and compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
