Tamborine Mountain, Queensland, Australia Tamborine Mountain Glades Full time $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Tamborine Mountain Glades is a unique destination offering boutique accommodation, event spaces, and family-friendly activities in the heart of the rainforest. We're proud to provide a beautiful and welcoming environment for our guests, and we're looking for a practical, hands-on Maintenance Worker / Handyperson to help us keep things running smoothly.

About the Role

This role involves a mix of routine repairs and project work. We're after someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves—whether it's fixing, painting, patching, or upgrading parts of the property. From general maintenance to small refurbishments and improvements, your work will help keep the resort looking great and functioning well.

Please note: This is not a trade-qualified role. We're looking for someone with practical skills and experience, not formal trade certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and move furniture and equipment for events and functions

  • Assist with maintenance projects including upgrades, refurbishments, and general improvements around the property

  • Carry out general repairs such as painting, patching, small tiling jobs, and minor installation

  • Respond quickly and professionally to guest maintenance requests, working closely with Housekeeping and Front Office teams

  • Other duties as required

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar hands-on role

  • Confident using a variety of hand and power tools

  • Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture and equipment

  • A practical problem-solver who takes pride in neat, thorough work

  • Current manual driver's license

  • Motivated, reliable, and happy to work independently or with others

  • Experience in hotel, resort, or property maintenance is a bonus, but not essential

If you enjoy fixing things around the house and have a passion for hands-on work, this could be a great fit for you
