Job Title: Mobile Fleet Technician

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities on our fleet of trains, ensuring they are safe and operational at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical trades, with experience in fault-finding and problem-solving. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair train carriages to ensure they are safe and operational
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Perform fault-finding and repair tasks as required
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Australian recognized trade qualification with certificate of proficiency
  • Excellent fault-finding experience
  • Forklift or overhead crane license desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
