About the Company:

Mastermyne has partnered with Whitehaven Coal since 2016, and look forward to continuing this longstanding client relationship and stability in the NSW Underground Coal Industry. Now, with two contracts at Narrabri for Cut and Flit and Gateroad Development, Mastermyne provides employment stability for our crews and opportunities for career development.

About the Role:

We're seeking a Mining Coordinator with extensive underground coal experience with a focus on cut and flit mining and/or gateroad development. Our Coordinators are driven, motivate others, lead by example and are critical to the delivery of a safe and productive project.

About You:

Minimum skills and attributes we seek for a Mining Coordinator:

  • Experience in a similar role with a focus on UG Coal Cut & Flit and/or Development works;
  • NSW Deputy qualifications essential;
  • Current S123/G2 Supervisory Statement of Attainments;
  • Demonstrated experience leading crews, setting positive examples and assisting in team development;
  • Has successfully planned, managed and delivered projects within agreed timeframes and budgets;
  • Very high regard for safety with a deep understanding of statutory requirements;
  • Ability to complete, analyse and deliver reports in agreed timeframes;
  • An advocate for continuous improvement and setting high standards of work;
  • Experience coaching and mentoring crews.
