Role Description

We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute General Manager to join our innovative team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading First Parking as we expand our footprint along the east coast of Australia, developing growth strategies, mentoring and supporting our leadership team.

Working with our Directors and the experienced Leadership Team, additionally, you will be responsible for preparing feasibilities, securing new lease or management agreements, developing high-value partnerships, and shaping the future of parking and mobility solutions. You will work closely with shareholders and directors, senior leaders, landlords, industry consultants and government stakeholders to deliver deals that drive long-term growth and strengthen our market position.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager located in the Greater Brisbane Area. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing strategic plans to maximise the value of parking assets. Tasks include monitoring performance, implementing innovative solutions, and maintaining strong tenant relationships. The role involves decision making, problem solving, and ensuring operational efficiency to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in car park management, leasing, and partnerships.
  • Develop and deliver winning proposals, tenders, and commercial agreements.
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations with landlords, property managers and councils.
  • Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships across the property and infrastructure sectors.
  • Contribute to long-term growth strategies, market expansion, and innovation projects.
  • Travel to interstate locations is required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Leadership and Team Management skills
  • Experience in Customer Service and Relationship Building
  • Strategic Planning and Problem-Solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using Technology to enhance operations
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Strong Decision Making and Responsibility Handling
  • Experience in the car parking, or a related industry, is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in management, Business Administration, or a related field
