**About The Role**
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead with impact? Compare the Market is on the hunt for an energetic and driven Team Leader to join our General Insurance Contact Centre team. This role is your opportunity to coach, inspire, and lead a high-performing team of consultants to success, while driving innovative strategies and unlocking new growth opportunities.
Reporting to the GI Contact Centre Manager, you’ll collaborate with a passionate group of leaders, focusing on coaching, strategy, and leveraging data-driven insights to deliver exceptional team performance. Whether you’re stepping into leadership for the first time or building on prior experience, you’ll benefit from industry-leading training and ongoing professional development.
**What You’ll Do**- Provide hands-on leadership and support to a team of consultants, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer experiences.- Develop and implement tailored coaching plans to address individual and team development needs.- Monitor team performance against KPIs and deliver actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement.- Facilitate regular team huddles and training sessions to share updates, celebrate successes, and address challenges.- Collaborate with other Team Leaders and managers to develop and execute strategies that align with broader business objectives.- Manage day-to-day operations, including workload allocation, and ensuring service levels are met.- Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues, providing solutions that balance customer and business needs.- Lead by example, fostering a positive, results-oriented team culture.- Identify trends or patterns in team performance and work collaboratively to address challenges or leverage opportunities.
**What You’ll Bring**- A passion for motivating and inspiring others to reach their potential.- Expertise in sales methodologies and a strong understanding of insurance processes.- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leadership within a contact centre or sales environment.- Ability to analyse performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and foster collaboration.- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.- Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting tools, or other data platforms is an advantage.- A results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving team goals and business outcomes.- Previous experience in driving change initiatives or improving team performance is highly regarded.
