About The Role

As a Technical Product Owner, you'll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and platform teams to shape and manage the technical roadmap. You'll define and prioritise requirements, guide delivery squads, and ensure the platform delivers secure, scalable, and high-performing outcomes for internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and refine the product backlog, translating business and technical needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and product teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with platform and integration strategies
  • Analyse current systems and data flows to identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop API specifications, data mappings, and interface requirements to support integration and automation initiatives
  • Partner with engineering to validate feasibility, remove delivery blockers, and uphold architectural and security standards
  • Drive outcomes across data, platform, and cyber uplift initiatives including reporting, automation, and SaaS configuration
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and stakeholder communication to maintain clarity and momentum

About You

  • Experience as a Technical Product Owner within fintech, SaaS, or technology-led environments
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and platform architecture
  • Comfortable working with SQL, data analysis, or API tools such as Postman or Swagger
  • Skilled in Agile delivery and experienced managing backlogs across multiple technical workstreams
  • Clear communicator able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical, detail-focused, and confident making prioritisation decisions
