Role Summary

We are looking for a strategic and customer-focused
Product Owner
to lead the development and optimisation of our clients
refunds and payments experience
. This role is responsible for defining and delivering the product vision for refund-related processes, ensuring seamless, efficient, and customer-friendly solutions across digital platforms.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data analysts to create a world-class payments experience that balances customer needs, operational efficiency, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the
    product strategy and vision
    for the refunds and payments function
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to align product goals with customer and business outcomes
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritise features and improvements based on data-driven insights
  • Work closely with development squads to ensure clear requirements, scope alignment, and delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Leverage analytics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement and optimisation
  • Manage product risk, compliance, and governance across all payment and refund processes
  • Ensure that solutions meet security, performance, and regulatory standards while maintaining a frictionless customer experience

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a
    Product Owner
    or in a similar product management role within
    digital, e-commerce, or financial services
    environments
  • Strong understanding of
    Agile methodologies
    and the
    end-to-end product lifecycle
  • Experience with
    refund systems, payment gateways, or financial reconciliation
    (highly desirable)
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in
    Jira, Confluence
    , and analytics or reporting tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance technical feasibility, business value, and customer experience in decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
