About the Role:-
As a Workers Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and administering the organisation's workers compensation program. This includes overseeing claims, supporting injured employees, and implementing initiatives to minimise workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic approaches to complex claims
- Liaise with doctors, HSEQ managers, insurers, and legal representatives
- Design and implement return-to-work programs
- Manage all caseloads with accuracy and attention to detail
- Monitor workers compensation practices and compliance
- Coordinate with insurance providers
- Automate and streamline internal workers compensation processes
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven hands-on experience managing compensation claims in a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of multi-state workers compensation regulations
- High-level communication skills with clarity and confidence
- Empathy and genuine care when supporting injured employees
- Experience developing and implementing return-to-work programs
