Stacks Goudkamp is seeking a dedicated and experienced Workers' Compensation Lawyer to join our growing team in Sydney.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and client-focused lawyer with at least 3 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims in NSW.

This full-time role as a member of our Work Injury Group offers flexible working arrangements, as well as the opportunities to manage your own files and to provide exceptional legal support to injured workers.

Your primary focus will be guiding injured workers through their compensation claims, ensuring they feel supported and informed at every step.

Key responsibilities

You will:

  • Manage a diverse practice of workers compensation and work injury damages claims from initial instructions through to resolution

  • Provide clear and compassionate legal advice to clients

  • Prepare court documents, submissions and correspondence

  • Work collaboratively with senior lawyers, support staff and other stakeholders to ensure successful case outcomes

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and understood throughout their matter.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years PAE in personal injury law, with a focus on workers' compensation

  • A current NSW practising certificate

  • A strong client service focus with a genuine passion for helping injured workers navigate their claims

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex workers compensation matters

  • Strong legal drafting and advocacy skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and trust

  • A solution focused outlook with a proactive approach to delivering quality outcomes

  • An ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage competing priorities.
