Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making recommendations on key strategies, plans and working with their workers to help improve RTW outcomes and case management strategies.
  • Leading the delivery and evaluation of pilot programs across multiple client sites.
  • Conducting in-depth case reviews and audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Working closely with clients, insurers, and claims teams to develop solutions
  • Partnering with senior leaders to provide expert advice and insights into workers compensation legislation, compliance, and best practice.
  • Mentoring and upskilling internal staff, as well as delivering training to client teams to strengthen knowledge and capability.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends, legislation changes, and innovations to ensure clients are supported with the most current strategies.
  • Assisting in reviewing client portfolios, cases and auditing claims.

About you:

Significant experience in workers compensation, injury management, or claims consulting.

  • A deep understanding of workers compensation legislation and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven success in managing projects, pilots, or RTW programs, with the ability to evaluate and improve outcomes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in working at senior levels.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and guide both clients and internal teams.
  • Passion for driving better outcomes for injured workers and for creating lasting, positive change for organisations.
  • Strong attention to details able to review and build reports for internal and external clients.

  • 5+ years' experience within a workers compensation role advisory;

  • Qualifications in Psychology, Injury Management, Return to Work or WHS essential;
  • Experience in complex workers compensation management including premium placement, review and analysis
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of WHS and workers compensation (State based legislation and practical application);
  • Demonstrated understanding of SIRA Guidelines, including all other state equivalents.
  • You will have a proven ability to build rapport easily, have a consultative style, with excellent listening and influencing skills. You will possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written and thrive on seeing people achieve their dream jobs
