ZircoDATA is one of Australia's leading providers of information management solutions to the Australian market. We provide a wide range of services including records management, document management, vital records archive storage, data protection services and document destruction.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven and experienced Team Leader that will lead a highly motivated and engaged team in all aspects of operations, though primarily in a warehouse setting.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Picking and putting away of boxes and files in warehouse
  • Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Maintaining safe work practices and complying with all WH&S policies
  • Use of PDA (personal digital assistant)
  • Ability to efficiently operate computerised inventory systems
  • Efficient and effective handling of confidential material
  • Audit checks on process carried out by team members
  • Performing various administrative tasks and projects in the warehouse
  • Customer deliveries and collections (as required)
  • Implementing strategies to maximise efficiency & profitability
  • Implementing and managing new and existing technology
  • Training and development of team
  • Managing multiple facilities & equipment
  • Stock control and ordering
  • Round the clock problem solving
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

To be successful in this role applicants must have the following:

  • Physically fit (some cartons can be 10kg+)
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Prior data entry experience in a warehouse setting is desired
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer and communication skills are required
  • Familiar with various warehouse systems and Microsoft office programs
  • Must have a current drivers license
  • LF, LO and MR license strongly desired (or willingness to obtain)
  • Extensive experience in a similar leadership role across a broad range of functions responsible for service delivery
  • Contemporary knowledge of risk, governance, compliance and safety framework, programs and practices
  • High level of professionalism including excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to create winning team mentality
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to engage a team and lead in achieving client service goals
  • Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously
