Our Positive Behaviour Support Team has grown, and we are looking for an additional Team Leader to join our established team.

In this role there are no KPI's, with a focus on supporting our PBSP's to provide quality, best-practice support to our participants.

At Hively we support a mix of working with clients in the community tailored to employee location, working from home and one day a week working from our East Brisbane office.

About the role

As Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading our PBS team to deliver high-quality services. You will be empowered to shape and grow with your role. We are a growing organisation and our Leaders actively shape the future of PBS at Hively.

You will provide excellent support, leadership and management to our growing team of practitioners. This includes supervision and mentoring, peer review and professional development.

You will have the full support of the management team, including both our Practice Lead and Team Leader in Positive Behaviour Support, our Managing-Director, General Manager and our experienced administrative team.

Our focus is on providing the best possible service for our clients and support for our team We take work culture seriously, with ongoing PD + career progression opportunities for those seeking a leadership pathway.

This role includes the ability to work from our East Brisbane office and WFH.

What We're Looking For:

  • A highly motivated and currently registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner - proficient, advanced or specialist
  • An experienced Team Leader or the ability to develop into a Team Leader role
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications are desirable (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences)
  • A driven and committed individual who works well both independently and as part of our multi-disciplinary team
  • Sound understanding of evidence-based approaches and quality delivery of service
  • Commitment to best practice and person-centred outcomes for clients
  • Ability to represent Hively in a person-centred, respectful and professional manner at all times
  • Thrive in a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement
