- Managing budgets, overseeing grant applications (including CSRFF), and keeping everything compliant.
- Representing the City in professional forums and seeking out new opportunities for growth.
- Supporting your team's development and wellbeing, while fostering a safe and inclusive workplace.

- Strong written communication — you know how to make reports and presentations sing.
- Budgeting and grant-writing know-how.
- A knack for juggling priorities and keeping projects on track.
- A solid understanding of sporting and recreation trends.
Experience
- At least 3 years' experience in community or recreation program delivery.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to build a motivated, high-performing team.
- Local government experience is a bonus, but not essential.
Qualifications & Licences
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Recreation, Social Science or similar.
- Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical
