What You'll Be Working On

Lead the administration function for the Community Development Department, providing high-quality support to the Director, managing a team of administrative staff, and driving process improvements.

You'll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, streamline day-to-day operations, promote professional development, and ensure exceptional customer service and cross-departmental communication.

You'll support the smooth operation of Council and Committee processes through timely agenda preparation, meeting attendance and minute-taking, and collaborate with the Communications and Engagement Team to support events and civic activities.

What You'll Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role you will bring at least five years' senior-level experience in office administration and team leadership, strong technical proficiency across key software platforms, and a proven ability to improve systems and processes.

You will be an effective communicator, skilled in managing competing priorities, and confident working collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality service support and conflict resolution.
