Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu development and execution.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and teamwork.
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

What we would love from you:

  • Prior experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. Venues in up-scale dining would be advantageous, not necessarily hatted.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for food.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and best practices.
  • Food safety and hygiene certification.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
