Who will you be working with?
In alignment with Wabtec's Vision, Mission, and Values, be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of customer service requirements that contributes to the overall achievement of business goals and objectives of the WA Operations.

How will you make a difference?
The Operations Administrator will streamline daily processes and improve coordination across teams to enhance overall efficiency.

They will ensure accurate documentation, smooth workflow management and timely support that helps the business operate more effectively.

Kewdale, Perth WA

What will your typical day look like?
Key activities may include:

  • Comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with Wabtec policy and procedures.
  • Open, maintain and closure of service works orders.
  • Prepare & submit quotations & variations for service work.
  • Maintenance of site-based registers, tracking sheets and labour time entry.
  • Coordinate dispatching of service work with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Capture and prepare relevant information to maintain registers and reports.
  • Prepare and distribute documentation and reports for service work to customers.
  • Preparation and archiving of all documentation and information.
  • Conduct meetings and be responsible for taking minutes and/or actions that arise.
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers for production and facility requirements when required.
  • Contribute with continuous improvement, lean and 5S initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customer contacts.
  • Resolve issues and negotiate favourable outcomes in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the working environment is always maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and actively contribute towards the achievement of business performance goals, delivery timeframes and customer satisfaction.
  • Willing to work outside or beyond normal hours to support business requirements.
  • Domestic or International travel may be required.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support business requirements.

What do we want to know about you?
Essential Experience

  • Three years or more related experience within a manufacturing or services environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective organisational, time management, multi-tasking and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Current Driver's license.

Desirable Experience

  • Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • Currently Hold/Willing to obtain - First Aid, Fire Warden.
