Duties and responsibilities:

  • Cooking food items from and ensure food quality, portion control, presentation and consistency across all dishes
  • Menu planing and pricing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements.
  • Manage stock levels, monitor supplies, and placing orders
  • Communicating management on profit margin, estimating food labour cost, and negotiating with supply orders.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain quality and service efficiency.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Must have 1 year of work experience.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Preferable)

Schedule:

  • Rotating roster
  • Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

Full time Working rights (Inside Australia Required)

Job Type: Full-time
