Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker at Eminence Care, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing one-on-one in-home support to clients with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and transport assistance
  • Supporting community participation, social activities, and outings
  • Assisting with domestic tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
  • Encouraging independence and self-confidence through tailored support programs
  • Reporting and recording client information in line with NDIS requirements
  • Supporting clients with hoist transfers and manual handling as required
About You

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and awareness of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Experience with behaviour management, hygiene care, hoist/manual handling, and community engagement
  • A warm, caring nature and a genuine interest in helping others
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A client-focused, safety-first approach with attention to confidentiality and professionalism
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in disability or aged care support work
  • Certificate III in aged care, disability support, or community services is preferred
  • Current national police check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Valid Australian work rights
Desirable Attributes:
  • Enjoyment in social activities and cooking.
  • Experience in assisting individuals with physical limitations.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and emotional resilience.
