Better Disability Care Pty Ltd is seeking for a Philippino and Arabic speaking disability support worker to join our team of experienced professionals in western suburb of Victoria.
Disability Support Worker who is passionate about working with people living with a disability including those who are disabled by mental health. We are looking for people who are eager to step into a rewarding role that allows you to combine your professional skills/experience and passion for caring for others. We place a higher value on those who have a positive mindset and a willingness to learn so if you are interested but don't have any experience, we would still like to hear from you. We will provide you with the training that you need to succeed.

The RoleThe specifics of the role will change depending on the client; however, Disability Support Workers tend to focus on tasks that alleviate physical discomfort and promote social connectedness, independence, emotional well-being, and general health.
Support worker will be supporting NDIS participants with the activities of daily living and also help them to access or engaged in the community.
Preferably - Philippino and Arabic Speaking Background

NDIS Workers Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You'
Australian working rights
Working With Children Check
Police check
100 points of ID
Certification in First Aid & CPR
Qualification in Disability, Mental Health, or Health care
Desirable: Certificate 3 in individual support or certificate 4 in disability
ADLs Experience (Activities of Daily Living)
Certification in First Aid & CPR
