Role Description

This is a volunteer hybrid role located in Hobart, TAS, with some work-from-home flexibility for the State Chair of Tasmania. The State Chair will represent PCA in the state, promoting the benefits of prefabrication, collaborating with industry stakeholders, and organizing local events and initiatives. Duties will include fostering relationships with members, advocating for policy changes, coordinating with the national council, and providing strategic direction for the state's activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management and relationship-building
  • Ability to advocate for policy changes and collaborate with industry and government bodies
  • Knowledge of prefabrication techniques and the construction industry
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Previous experience in a similar volunteer or leadership role is a plus
