About the Role:

At Cleanaway, we're the leader in waste management, committed to quality, safety, and innovation. Right now, we're looking for a Maintenance Administration Support Officer to join our small and dedicated operations team.

This role provides essential administrative support to ensure our fleet and operations run smoothly.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing service-related purchase orders and invoicing for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating communications between teams and suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate service and repair records
  • Acting as a point of contact for external suppliers and internal departments
  • Supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day maintenance and operational requirements
  • Assisting with systems onboarding and other IT-related administrative tasks to support smooth operations

The ideal person for this role will be self-motivated and enjoy working with a high level of autonomy, while still being a reliable and supportive team player. You'll be highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities with ease, and have the communication skills to build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and colleagues. Experience skills/required:

  • Strong organisational skills – reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable dealing with suppliers and managing purchase orders
  • IT savvy and quick to pick up new systems (systems onboarding experience a bonus)
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or similar admin roles will be highly regarded
  • A team player who's happy to support and assist in a small, close-knit team
