SPORTS CLUB ATTENDANT – Hamilton Island

Hamilton Island's modern, new and well equipped SPORTS CLUB offers a range of equipment including free weights, treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, rowers and more.  Complimenting this is a variety of group fitness and yoga classes, two spas, three tennis courts, a multipurpose courts and 18 hole minigolf. Our sports club team of two dedicated trainers whip our guests and staff in to shape after they've been devouring our delicious cuisine, sipping on tropical cocktails and generally lying around having a fabulous time.  Yes, that's right, one of the perks of being a Hamilton Island team member is a very heavily discounted gym membership.  We want out team to keep fit and healthy while living and working in paradise.

Where you'll make an impact 
You will lead our fitness classes including freestyle high intensity group classes; boxing, circuit, high intensity interval classes; and then slow the pace down with a yoga class.  You will also assist in greeting and checking our guests and take bookings for our facilities as well as keep them well presented.

You are a positive, friendly and energetic professional.  You are energised by helping people stretch themselves, strive for their goals and understand you can have a direct influence on their wellbeing.  In fact you're pretty special.  You're a team player and enjoy working in a close-knit and will go out of your way to make a positive impact on our guests experience.To be successful, you will need
  • Certificate III and IV in Fitness (ESSENTIAL)
  • Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR (ESSENTIAL)
  • Yoga/Reformer Pilates/Pilates/Barre/HIIT/Hyrox Instructing experience OR qualification (DESIRABLE)
  • Excellent communication and presentation
