About the role:

We are seeking experienced Test Analysts and Migration Test Analysts to join our team and support the successful delivery of a biometric onboarding solution for our client. This role will see you working closely with the client, vendor, and technical teams to ensure high-quality outcomes through robust testing practices.

Key responsibilities:

Test Analyst

  • Define and execute test strategy and plans across SIT, integration, E2E, and UAT support with clear criteria.
  • Design and run test scenarios, data validations, and exception handling.
  • Support the defect lifecycle (log, triage, prioritise, retest, close).
  • Support go‑live and conduct post‑release checks to ensure timely issue identification and resolution.

Migration Test Analyst

  • Support preparation of migration test strategy and plans.
  • Support design and execution of test cases for product/account changes, card issuance/activation, and customer journeys; manage test data.
  • Support defect lifecycle (triage, prioritisation, retest, closure) with NGM workstream owners; maintain clear reporting.
  • Execute cutover validation checklists and post‑migration verification.

Location Requirement:

  • You must be on-site with the client in Newcastle 2 days per week.
  • Preference will be given to candidates located in Newcastle, the Central Coast, or the Hunter region.
  • Candidates based in Sydney must be willing to commute to Newcastle 2 days per week.
