About the role

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at our Forty Winks store located in Ballarat, VIC.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Assisting customers with product selection, answering queries, and processing sales transactions
  • Maintaining store presentation and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and merchandised
  • Participating in store inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the home furnishings or bedding industry (desirable but not essential as all training is provided)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of store presentation
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities effectively
  • A positive, friendly, and energetic attitude to contribute to a vibrant team environment
  • Weekend work is a must, with applicable pay rates applying.
