A rare and exciting opportunity has opened for a passionate and driven Head Chef to take the lead at Angus & Co in Port Pirie, located at BreakFree Port Pirie. This is your chance to grow, develop, and inspire a dedicated kitchen team while putting your stamp on one of South Australia's most popular dining brands.

Since 2015, we've been serving up modern steakhouse classics with a twist, and today we're proud to have venues across SA, VIC, and WA—with more to come. We're now looking for an experienced chef with flair, leadership, and vision to drive our Port Pirie kitchen to the next level.

What you'll be doing

As Head Chef, you'll oversee all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring every dish lives up to the Angus & Co promise. From menu execution and cost control to team development and upholding the highest standards of quality and hygiene, you'll be the driving force behind our guest experience.

About you

We're looking for a chef who brings:

  • Proven experience leading a kitchen team in a high-quality venue.
  • A creative and hands-on approach to food, with a love for classic steakhouse fare.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage COGS, wages, and profitability.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene at the highest standards.
  • Drive, energy, and a leadership style that inspires others.

Experience in regional or resort-style kitchens is a plus, but not essential.
