PROJECT COORDINATOR – EXHIBITIONS EVENTS -

Colab Design Group is seeking an experienced Junior-Mid Project Coordinator for Custom Exhibition Stands Events and Retail Fit Out projects for an immediate start.

Would suit an experienced project coordinator or estimator with a design background and/or production/build knowledge that's looking to work with global brands on exciting projects in the retail, events and exhibition space from design to build and completion.

ROLE DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Taking briefs from corporate clients, retailers, event production agencies for the creation of innovative custom stands, exhibitions, retail fit outs and brand activations.

  • Detailed Project Coordination skills to move creative concepts and in-house designs through to fabrication and onto a finished product built environment.

  • End to End - Key stakeholder management experience from suppliers to end client.

  • Ability to work closely and manage local suppliers in the retail fit outs and exhibition events space.

  • Must have knowledge and experience with build construction methods, materials and processes in retail fit outs and exhibitions/events builds.

  • Preparing quotes and consulting at all stages of the process.

  • You will be working closely with our Design Team and Construction Crew working on projects for local and global brands.

  • Interstate Travel is required at least once a month, supervising site builds, labour crews and managing construction of expo stands and events.

  • Weekend work is required at least once a month depending on events expos. Overnight works are also required for shopping centre projects.

ABOUT YOU:

-You have worked in a similar role for at least 2 years.

-You are organised and can prioritise and multi-task without losing sight of the end goal.

-You have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

-You have excellent communication skills and a team player with a positive attitude.

-You are a problem solver – always finding solutions - with a can-do/will do attitude.

-Be able to lead and direct build and labour crews on-site to successfully deliver projects for clients.

-Ability to work autonomously and independently with opportunity for regular interstate travel.

-You are available and willing to travel to events

-You are proficient with MS Office programs and Cloud software – Dropbox.

This role is ready to take on the right person immediately. Salary package will be based on your level of experience
