About this role
- Employment Type: Full Time, Ongoing
- 35 hour working week, in a hybrid working environment
- Crown Clerk 7/8, salary from $110,266 - $118,296 p.a. (plus Super and annual leave loading)
The successful candidate will:
- Contribute to policy development, evaluation activities and projects/programs for the Ministry of Health and related agencies to support the achievement of NSW Health's objectives, with a particular focus on maternity strategic policies.
- Assist in preparing high quality written reports, briefs, correspondence, and cabinet documents to inform decision making or respond to agency or Government requests.
- Provide effective support to projects/programs within the portfolio to ensure outcomes and/or expectations are achieved.
- Effectively communicate with key staff in the Ministry, public health organisations and other stakeholders to maintain knowledge of and collaborate on matters relevant to the health and social policy portfolio.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in the area of health and social policy and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of advice in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver on policy and program/project areas.
