About this role
What you'll be doing
  • Managing the project cycle, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets and meeting reporting requirements to ensure the Palliative Care program outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate all aspects of implementation including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, impact and quality measures.
  • As the Senior Project Officer you will be responsible for providing coordination and administration of working groups and committees and delivering on outcomes of the program.
  • Manage stakeholder groups, monitor and report on deliverables and milestones and in association with the Principal Project Officer the position will develop, implement, and evaluate the program.
About you
  • You'll have demonstrated relevant, professional experience in health and social policy and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • You'll have excellent communication skills to provide high quality timely advice.
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to build relationships across the End of Life Palliative Care sector.
  • You'll be able to work independently with strong organisational and time management skills to manage competing demands and make sound decisions to meet deadlines.
  • You'll have experience working in NSW Health or government as an advantage.
  • Experience of government procurement processes also an advantage.
