Advance Cairns is the peak Regional Advocacy and Economic Development Organisation for Tropical North Queensland. Advance Cairns provides leadership, advocacy and economic development, and works to build a powerful voice for the region on behalf of our members.

Our members represent organisations that choose to be involved in making a positive contribution to the long-term development of the region.  Under this model, member businesses have the opportunity to actively influence the strategic direction of Advance Cairns and ultimately the future of TNQ.

This is a role which serves a membership base across all sectors offering genuine diversity. You'll never be bored. Calls for strong organisational and people skills.

 Provide executive support and assistance to the Chief Executive Officer. In this role you will be across all elements of our dynamic business as key part of small tight team.

 You will be responsible for the administrative and governance functions of Advance Cairns business operations and delivery of high-level governance and systems, processes and policies that enables efficient and professional service delivery by the Advance Cairns staff and Board members. Deliver on the governance standards set by the Board

 Manage the Advance Cairns operational programmes to ensure delivery of a quality member-focused organisation with outcomes for members and the region at our core.

 Be a key part of our member engagement - manage member events including all logistics
