We're looking for a skilled
Systems Administrator
to take ownership of maintaining, optimising, and securing critical technology platforms that keep our organisation running efficiently. You'll work across a diverse range of systems and infrastructure — from on-premises servers to cloud environments — ensuring they're reliable, scalable, and aligned with modern technology standards.

This role involves both strategic thinking and hands-on technical work, supporting systems that are central to high-demand operations. You'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining solutions that meet evolving business and mission needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support ICT infrastructure, including server builds, OS and application configuration, system hardening, and local security policies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system performance and availability.
  • Manage and optimise cloud-based platforms, automating configuration, deployment, and monitoring processes.
  • Configure and maintain network components such as VPNs, firewalls, routing tables, and cloud-native networking tools.
  • Oversee installation and lifecycle management of physical infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking hardware.
  • Support and maintain a broad range of enterprise systems including:
  • Virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Red Hat)
  • Cloud services and infrastructure
  • High performance computing environments
  • Messaging, collaboration, and communication tools (Exchange, email gateways, voice/video systems)
  • Application packaging and deployment platforms
  • Security and monitoring systems
  • Enterprise databases and collaboration software

  • Cloud and on-premise system integration
  • Enterprise monitoring and alerting
  • Security, patching, and system resilience
