This is a TALENT POOL ONLY role. This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
Salary: Base salary of $50,306 per annum (which, on a pro-rata basis is a full-time equivalent salary of $83,844 per annum) plus 11.5% superannuation

YOUR NEW ROLE
This position has responsibility to promote, sell and organise reservations of Tours and Experiences within the Sydney Opera House (SOH) Tourism products and services range. This position provides the highest quality of service to trade clients, general public, SOH business partners and other SOH departments.

ARE YOU THE ONE?
Key Responsibilities/skills:
- The Reservations Consultant is required to possess a thorough working knowledge of all tour products and packages offered by the Sydney Opera House, including events, services and the House's context within the international Arts and Tourism community. A working knowledge of the House's building is essential.
- The position holder must possess highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills both face to face and over the phone. In addition, they will require strong time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to deliver services in a flexible and adaptable manner in line with the values of the Sydney Opera House.
- The position holder is required to have strong administrative skills, be proficient in the usage of credit cards, and have the ability to accurately handle and reconcile cash and accounts.
- The position holder is required to work with limited supervision and in a responsible manner.
- The position holder must be willing to communicate through a number of channels, including face to face at a check in desk, via phone and email.
- Tessitura experience is essential, as is experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
