We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a prestigious corporate dining operation in the heart of Sydney's CBD. This is a rare opportunity to step into a premium Monday-Friday role while working with a highly professional and supportive team.

The Role

  • Lead and support a small brigade, reporting directly to the Head Chef
  • Oversee service across multiple kitchens, including a brand-new main kitchen and satellite outlets
  • Deliver a mix of high-end boardroom dining, buffets, canapés, and occasional evening events
  • Contribute to menu execution and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage daily operations with a focus on efficiency, consistency, and premium guest experience

What's on Offer

  • Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (typically 7am-4pm)
  • Time in lieu provided for any additional hours worked
  • Stable, professional environment servicing a premium client base
  • Opportunity to showcase creativity within a high-calibre corporate setting

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a premium environment
  • Background in hatted restaurants, 5-star hotels, or high-end corporate dining is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and mentoring ability
  • Driven, detail-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences
  • May suit an experienced Head Chef seeking the perfect work-life balance with structured hours

Salary: Competitive, reflective of experience
