Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Amplify Alliance Australia Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Event Coordinator (0.6 FTE) – Amplify Alliance

Make a genuine impact | Join a small, values-driven, collaborative team | Start in early 2026

Are you an enthusiastic event all-rounder who loves creating memorable experiences, nurturing relationships, and rolling up your sleeves to help wherever you're needed?

Do you thrive in a collegiate, positive, and purpose-led environment where everyone pitches in — no egos, no silos, just good people doing great work?

If so — we'd love to meet you.

Amplify Alliance exists for a simple purpose: to empower our members to change lives. We support Not-for-Profit organisations delivering social and human services, helping amplify their voice, their capability, and their impact. When they thrive, communities do too.

We are now looking for a friendly, organised, and agile Event Coordinator (0.6FTE) to join our small but mighty team.

Please note: We are advertising now but do not expect to complete the selection process until after Christmas, with a January/February 2026 commencement.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

At Amplify Alliance, we genuinely live our values — Integrity, Respect, Engagement, Accountability, and Diversity.

We are a close, collegial team that supports each other, jumps in when someone needs a hand, and celebrates our wins together. There's no ego here and no "that's not my job". Just good people, doing meaningful work, with good humour and plenty of heart.

You'll enjoy:

  • A culture of trust, kindness, and collaboration
  • Meaningful work with purpose-driven organisations
  • Autonomy in how you organise your work
  • A mix of office-based and remote days
  • The chance to grow your skills across events, engagement, and project support

About the Role

As our Event Coordinator, you'll help shape, plan, and deliver a diverse calendar of events — from summits, forums and networking sessions to webinars, workshops and advisory meetings. You'll play a key role in bringing people together, creating great experiences, and supporting our members to connect, learn, and collaborate.

You will also be an integral part of our membership engagement — responding warmly to enquiries, nurturing relationships, and ensuring our members always feel well supported.

This role suits someone who is:

  • Equally comfortable coordinating logistics or greeting guests
  • Calm under pressure and upbeat in attitude
  • Curious, resourceful, and proactive
  • Happy working in a small team where everyone pitches in

You won't be precious about job boundaries — because the magic happens when we pull together.

How to Apply

If this sounds like the kind of team and purpose you'd love to be part of, we'd be excited to receive your application. For a Position Description please email

Once you reviewed the role details, please submit:

  • Your resume, and
  • A cover letter, responding to the selection criteria that tells us why this role is a great fit for you

Applications will be reviewed as they are received with an anticipated start date in the new year.
