The MyState Group is looking for a leader to support all divisions in delivering on our Cyber Security Strategy. Leading the Cyber Security Team, this role will be an integral part of shaping our digital future, safeguarding our assets, and driving innovation in an ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. If you are a leader and a Cyber expert, we want to hear from you. Our Head office is based in the beautiful Hobart CBD, we also have office locations in Sydney and Melbourne. This role supports remote work with travel.

**A Day in the Life**:
Your position, as the primary authority in the business concerning Cyber Security, is multifaceted. It demands not just strategic planning and leadership but also continuous education and nurturing of a culture of awareness and vigilance. Beyond ensuring security, your role will be pivotal in instilling resilience, promoting growth, and navigating the digital landscape. As you champion collaboration and a future focussed viewpoint, you will guide MyState confidently through the cyber challenges of our era.

**Here are the key skills and strengths we’re looking for**:
You will have extensive knowledge and experience (at Senior Manager or Executive Manager level) in information/cyber security strategy at an Enterprise level and within a large complex organisation, financial services/banking background highly preferred.

You will have proven leadership skills and experience in influencing project teams, stakeholders and prioritisation of work programs and you’ll be an excellent communicator and have ability to tailor communications to meet the different needs of stakeholders across the business.
