Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for looking after a portion of a large-scale warehouse and distribution centre project and will involve:

• Liaising with relevant internal teams and external parties to ensure the project is completed safely, on time, within the agreed budget and to the agreed functionality
• Managing the project reporting, budgets, schedule, revenue collection and cash flow planning
• Managing resourcing and staff planning, including coordination of sub-contractors
• Onsite Management of Subcontractors and Dematic Project Team
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships to understand their needs and provide recommendations based on their business and operational environments
• Communicating with all relevant stakeholders at each stage of the project life cycle

ABOUT YOU – WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related business field
• Proven extensive experience 5 years in construction and/or installation for large scale, complex projects
• Knowledge of construction or installation processes, materials, and methods
• Strong knowledge of construction industry regulations
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills and stakeholder management
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficient in financial controlling software and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines
• Ability to travel across Melbourne and interstate
