Role Description

Are you passionate about sustainability and innovation? Join our team as a
Sustainability Officer – Product, Training and Engagement
and play a key role in supporting AIA's flagship Environmental Accounting Platform (EAP).

In this dynamic role, you'll support users of the Environmental Accounting Platform (EAP) by delivering tailored training, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and leading engaging demonstrations. Beyond user support, you'll collaborate closely with scientific and technical teams to translate complex carbon accounting frameworks into practical, user-friendly platform features. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders and developers, you'll help define and prioritise new functionality, ensuring the platform evolves in line with user needs and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, data, statistics or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in carbon accounting or related field.
  • Knowledge of GHG accounting or similar sustainability fields, including relevant international protocols and standards.
  • Experience within the agricultural, fisheries or forestry sectors is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, draw insights from stakeholder engagement and execute tactically.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
