In the role of Associate Director, you will join the Sustainable Finance team, within Capital Markets Origination & Distribution, that's at the heart of customer obsession and moving with speed.

Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

  • Support Sustainable Finance team members on delivery of key strategic initiatives
  • Work alongside Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) origination and relationship teams to originate, and execute sustainable financing solutions
  • Undertake industry research, benchmarking and analysis of market best practice and develop tailored client insights
  • Support internal and external reporting, including leveraging AI to streamline reporting and insights development processes
  • Undertake appropriate industry accreditation and maintain qualifications as required

We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need to have:

  • Experience in transaction origination, execution, working collaboratively and with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills
  • An origination mindset with a strong customer focus
  • Deep knowledge of sustainability and sustainable finance preferred
  • Be a team player with ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience in origination and coverage roles preferred but not essential
  • Strong research and analytical skills with ability to distil emerging global and domestic trends into tailored customer insights
  • Ability to integrate AI into business processes, analysis and insights
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite including Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Copilot
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably with a degree in environmental sciences, sustainability, finance or related areas with postgraduate qualifications preferable
  • AFMA or other financial markets qualifications preferred.
