Reporting to our Green Star Delivery Manager, you will support the Green Star Operations Transformation Team and the Green Star Certification process, and will be the interface between the Green Star Operations team and external stakeholders. As well as being the team's first point of contact for administrative support, you will also be responsible for logistical and operational arrangements, ensuring success of Green Star Assessments such as calendar and appointment management, document management and establishing database/system management.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do at the GBCA. To be successful in this role you will need to ensure a positive stakeholder experience, both internally and externally, therefore an ability to communicate and interact effectively in a timely manner with a range of stakeholders is a must.

This is a full-time role based in our Sydney headquarters. This is also an entry-level position into our green star operations team. You will be provided with extensive training and we encourage recent graduates to apply.

Your new responsibilities

  • Manage the Green Star Certification Project database;
  • Data entry and maintenance of data between existing and new systems.
  • Support the Green Star assessment process by completing pre-assessment reviews, scheduling assessments and entering points for creating certificate
  • Manage correspondence including project submissions and Assessor invoices;
  • Compile documents required to support the activities of the senior management team;
  • Arrange domestic and international travel and accommodation plans;
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take and distribute minutes and follow up action items.

Your skills and experience

  • Tertiary degree or other qualifications in sustainability, architecture, engineering, environmental science or business administration highly desirable.
  • 1+ years administrative experience in an office environment (is preferable, but we are also interested in interviewing exceptional recent graduates with relevant degrees and experience)
  • High competency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, and medium competency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer service focus and skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability to work independently in a fast paced and changing environment.
