Role Purpose:
ATSILS is seeking a Senior ICT Officer (North Queensland) responsible for delivering expert technical support and project assistance across ATSILS' Northern offices with the potential for statewide travel and support. Working in close collaboration with the ICT Manager, Executive Team, Corporate Services Teams, and external Managed Service Providers, this role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality ICT solutions to staff and management. As one of Queensland's largest legal practices, we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Ideally you would be based from our Cairns or Townsville Office.
About You:
- Holder of Microsoft Certifications AZ-900.
- Degree in IT
- At least 5 years' experience in supporting accounts, sites and users within Microsoft 365 environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Level 2 ICT Systems Officer or Administrator or 5 years in call centre environment, supporting Microsoft tenancies.
- Open Driver Licence.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and problem-solving skills when handling user requests.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, with the ability to build rapport and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Be aligned to ATSILS Values and Our Purpose, ideally have experience in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service, community legal service and/or not-for-profit organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent and high-quality information and communication technology (ICT) technical support and assistance to management and staff of the organisation, in conjunction with external service providers.
- Deliver high-quality support in Microsoft 365 environment.
- Offer high-quality support with user devices from end to end.
- Provide (or co-ordinate as requested) training and guidance on new ICT products and systems to staff.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders in relation to sourcing of quotes for the supply of all ICT hardware, software, equipment, and services.
- Lead or participate in organisational ICT and digitisation projects where required, and project delivery with external ICT service providers.
- Coordinate replacement cycle of ICT infrastructure in consultation with the ICT Manager and CFO.
- Coordinate infrastructure and office relocation or augmentation projects for various sized offices.
- Identify and advise opportunities where ICT solutions could enhance the operations of the organisation.
- Provide remote hands-on support to our regional and remote offices across the state, this could include extensive travel to any of our ATSILS sites as required.
