About Us:
Workforce & Payroll Solutions (WPS) is a high-performing and innovative team that sets the standard for excellence in operational and strategic advisory services. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional value by combining our deep expertise with a commitment to quality, integrity, and collaboration—both within our team and with our clients.

Our consultants bring a wealth of experience across the entire lifecycle of workforce and payroll solutions, spanning systems, processes, project management and service delivery. By leveraging this diverse skill set, we provide tailored solutions that drive measurable outcomes for clients, while fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth within our team.

We are dedicated to solving complex challenges and empowering organisations to optimise their landscape sustainably. As a team, we are constantly evolving, staying ahead of industry trends, and expanding our capabilities to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Workforce & Payroll Solutions (WPS) team and play a pivotal role in growing our Workforce Management (WFM) and Payroll offering. This is a unique opportunity for someone with deep, practical knowledge of WFM and Payroll platforms and a natural curiosity in the current WFM and Payroll vendor landscape and solution offerings. We are looking for an individual who understands the WFM and Payroll technology market and a good understanding of WFM and Payroll vendor solutions in the market. With an entrepreneurial mindset and strong consulting background, you'll be trusted to drive both innovation and delivery across complex programs. You will play a key role in developing and scaling a differentiated service offering that aligns with our existing business, while challenging traditional models to provide clients with greater choice, transparency, and outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is confident building new capability, managing stakeholders, and delivering high-impact transformation programs from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drives innovation and business growth: by creating a seamless, integrated offering that unifies HCM, WFM, and Payroll solutions, positioning us as the trusted, one-stop partner for our clients' workforce management needs.
  • Lead Project Delivery: Independently manage complex Human Capital projects, from initial planning through to execution and completion. This includes large transformation programs as well as shorter, high-impact advisory engagements.
  • Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Confidently manage upwards and across teams, maintaining strong communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strategic Thinking: Go beyond task execution—bring business acumen and strategic insight to ensure solutions are aligned with broader organisational goals, innovation and long-term success.
  • Project Financial Management: Own project budgeting, resource planning, forecasting, and risk/contingency management to ensure successful financial outcomes.
  • Collaborative Consulting: Work with cross-functional teams to assess current-state systems and processes, and design improved technology solutions, workflows, and operational outcomes.
  • Communication & Reporting: Deliver clear, concise, and tailored updates to clients and internal leadership, ensuring transparent progress tracking and issue resolution.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Support team members with guidance, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing to foster practice growth, development and project success.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience leading and delivering Human Capital projects, including system implementations, transformations, and complex programs—with a proven ability to define delivery approaches, add value beyond the brief, and consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently, manage senior stakeholders, and drive outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Strong project financial management skills, including budget oversight, forecasting, and contingency planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to build rapport and influence confidently at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in dynamic or ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, IT or a related field (preferred).
  • A natural curiosity for technology and innovation, with a desire to explore new systems, tools, and ways of working.
  • Actively contribute as a key member of the leadership team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture by supporting team development, providing mentorship, and creating opportunities for growth and progression across the wider team.

Why You'll Love WPS:

  • Exposure to a wide range of industries, clients, and project types—from strategic advisory to large-scale implementations.
  • Ongoing professional development, with opportunities to deepen your expertise in HRIS, payroll systems, and workforce management platforms.
  • A collaborative, energetic team culture where fresh ideas are encouraged, and your contribution truly makes a difference. We're a team that supports each other's growth, celebrates successes, and loves to have fun while doing meaningful work.
  • The chance to expand your leadership skills in a high-trust environment where initiative is valued.
  • Make the role yours, bring your idea's. We love creative concepts and the opportunity to prove they work.

In this role, you'll have the chance to demonstrate your skills and experience across multiple disciplines and work with a supportive team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. You won't be just following the playbook—you'll be helping write it
