The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Technical Officer - Mechanical to join us in our Operations and Maintenance team in Dandenong, VIC on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Operations, you will play a key role in carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance to fixed and mobile plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Check work areas, equipment, and plant for hazards or damage
- Perform routine and repair maintenance, including part replacements
- Find and fix faults and breakdowns
- Read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Work out time and materials needed, and order supplies when required
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and safe
- Follow safety rules and help train apprentices or team members
Your background
- Recognised mechanical trade qualifications
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems (advantageous)
- Exposure to waterbath heaters or similar equipment (highly regarded)
