We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Technical Officer – Electrical and Instrumentation to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team based in Longford, VIC on a full time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Operations East, you will play a key role in carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance to fixed and mobile plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect work areas and equipment for hazards or damage
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including repairs and part replacements
  • Diagnose and fix faults or breakdowns
  • Read drawings and instructions to plan and complete tasks
  • Estimate and order materials as needed
  • Support safety standards and assist with training apprentices or team members

Your background

  • Licensed 'A' Grade Electrician
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Experience or qualifications in Instrumentation and Control (valued)
  • Experience or qualifications in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (advantageous)
