As a Senior Technical Project Specialist, you play an integral role in achieving remarkable results on complex, technical integration projects, delivered on time, to budget and that achieve the project objectives and business outcomes. You apply your technical expertise in ICT infrastructure, integrations and Telstra products with your exceptional project delivery skills to drive projects to their success.You have mastered the art of synthesising complex specifications and technical requirements into project plans and outcomes, and in doing so you directly shape the success of Telstra's projects and therefore our business.Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Specialist to lead and deliver complex integration and infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you will take projects from concept through to delivery ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned to business outcomes. Drawing on your strong technical expertise and project management experience, you will drive initiatives that directly enhance our infrastructure and Telstra solutions, while also mentoring others and contributing to continuous improvement.
The Role
- Lead the technical delivery of infrastructure, networks, and Telstra product projects.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and outcomes while proactively resolving risks and issues.
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for delivery.
- Drive integration solutions that create tangible business value.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and uplift in delivery practices.
About You
You are an experienced technical project leader with the ability to balance structure and agility in complex delivery environments. You bring both technical depth and strong communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders and mentor others. Ideally, you have:
- Proven experience managing large-scale technical projects with measurable outcomes.
- Strong background in technical delivery across infrastructure and integration.
- Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with hands-on experience using JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills, with a proactive approach.
- The ability to collaborate effectively, translating challenges into practical, results-driven solutions
