The Role

Are you an experienced Facilities and Estate Manager looking for a short term contract and ready to hit the ground running? Do you have demonstrated experience in business operations and/or facilities management?

Are you based in Canberra

If you answered yes to these questions, then this just might be the role for you

Duties:

  • Plan, lead and oversee property management projects for the Agency
  • Proactive and reactive management of facilities for a single-floor government agency.
  • Coordinate access, for repairs and maintenance contractors, and be the first point of contact for all building and equipment requirements.
  • Undertake risk assessments and managing risks relating to corporate projects.
  • Engage with staff and leadership to provide advice and guidance on property management.
  • Lead a small team through the setting of priorities and management of workloads to deliver on work and build capability in the team.
  • Contribute to the activities of the broader Corporate Services team as required.

Do You Have?

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Independence and the ability to take ownership of deliverables.
  • Excellent initiative, judgement and a proactive approach to the remediation of risks.
