We approach our work in a warmer, more optimistic, and inclusive way.JLL is a global leader in helping clients envision where people will live, work, play, shop, and eat.What this opportunity involves.Working in a small portfolio team this role as Senior Facilities Manager will responsible for the day to day operations of a portfolio of commercial office buildings with a range of Commonwealth and Corporate tenants. As Senior FM the successful candidate will also mentor and drive their two direct reports.A snapshot of the role.Establish and maintain a sound professional working relationship with our clientsEnsure and manage compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and enact appropriate engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes and servicesMaximise the performance of the properties in terms of sustainabilityDrive performance of the assets to ensure NABERS energy and water targets are achievedCoordinate efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the assetsUndertake periodic inspections of the buildings and plant and determine the extent, and priority of any repair works requiredOngoing management of all specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms and conditions and nominated scope of worksIn collaboration with others, prepare annual property operations & capital works budgets and monitor and update budgets on a quarterly basisBefore you apply it's worth knowing what we are looking for.Proven facilities management experience in a commercial environmentReady to manage a high-profile portfolioA passion and understanding of sustainabilityGood knowledge of property systems, including familiarity with building services software proceduresKnowledge of occupational health & safety legislation and requirementsExcellent communication skills – both written and spokenAbility to work independently, multi-task, and manage time to meet deadlinesDesire to work as part of a diverse, supportive, and talented team of industry professionalsWhat you can expect from us:As an organisation, we don't just accept that we are a place of many different people, but we embrace it, we celebrate it, and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
