About Our Client
Our client is a leading coal mining operator committed to safe, sustainable, and efficient operations. What You Will Be Doing
This role supports mechanical governance and technical stewardship across site operations. Key responsibilities include: Championing Management of Change (MoC) processes

Reviewing mechanical documents and designs at site and asset level

Administering and reviewing Intelics registers

Providing technical guidance aligned with standards and procedures

Supporting RS23 reviews and WRACs

Acting as risk control owner for mechanical hazards (e.g. dropped objects, stored energy)

Supporting MEM processes including dossier reviews, incident investigations, and risk assessments

Participating in BOS processes, field leadership, hazard ID, and crew safety meetings

What You Will Need
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (university or trade)

Minimum 5 Years Experience In Mining
Proficient in SAP Work Management, Fiori, BHP MoC, D2, Meridian, FLEX, MS Suite, and GRC

Ability and willingness to work underground

Eligible for appointment as a supervisor

Prior Coal Mining Experience (underground Preferred)
Experience in maintenance and engineering roles
